In theory, it's easy to set up because the track just snaps together in place. As long as you space out the loops correctly (spelled out in the directions clearly,) the rest makes sense and is intuitive. I love that there's the option to plug it into the wall OR use batteries. We are always running out of batteries, and I love love love the corded option. I'm not actually sure what the littler paw-shaped remote is for; there are two regular remotes as well and that's what we use. Comes with spare tires, and you'll find out quickly why! The cars somehow manage to need the tires replaced pretty often and easily. But it is a simple and quick job to replace the tires. The track locks in together pretty well, and the lights show you when there's a electrical current interruption by either lighting up incompletely or not lighting up at all. The cars have wire threading on the bottoms just like bumper cars at amusement parks have wire threading into an electrical grid on the ceiling. You do need the guard rails if you're using full speed, or else the cars WILL fly off the track. Sometimes they manage to anyway, but they stay on the track during loops remarkably well.", "profile_name": "K. M.
