So far my son likes this plinker toy, he's happy and having fun with it. This scope does not really have any crosshairs in it to allow someone to actually aim this toy. I was hoping to get my son interested in plinking with this using the same rules and training as a real rifle. So good news is he's halfway there. This has almost the same bolt action, trigger pull as a real rifle. It even has a safety on the left side above the bolt/trigger. It ejects shells just like a real rifle. I'm giving it a four out of five because it lacks a way to aim and it would have been a better setup using a cheap red dot verses a scope that doesn't have crosshairs in it. This rifle does function much like a real rifle using plastic toy suction cup bullets. It will take a lot of practice to actually hit targets with this plinkster, and that's ok -it's a kids toy and I think it will be useful to teach him gun safety now at a young age so that is a win.
