He actually took it apart and re arranged the track several times the first two days to have fun with different configurations. The ability to control speed was a plus to get acclimated to the tracks ability. I know some reviews talk about customer service not great, but that was not my experience. It was given as a gift on Thanksgiving day and one of the cars stopped working within the first hour of play. I wrote the company the next morning and got a response within hours. They directed me to the right department to get the car replaced and by the next morning a new car was being shipped out. So for right now, it was a purchase that was well worth it and brought hours of fun in the first few days of owning it.
