It is good quality, but I wouldn't say great. Some of the pieces/remotes just feel a bit cheaper than I expected. That being said, everything has worked fine. My sons were thrilled with the set. They have not had anything like this before. The cars go super fast. The closest thing is a Hot Wheels launching track and its speeds doesn't match this. Even so, this thing takes up a lot of space which we don't really have. It's not made to constantly to take apart and put away. And besides, this thing takes a bit of time to set up completely so it's not something you would want to have to do constantly. I think you definitely need an adult to help get the track setup, due to some tricky pieces that need to be put together delicately to prevent breaking.  But after that, it is a lot of fun.  Taking the track up and down to put it away will probably lead to eventually breaking the little tabs that hold the track together.  The remote isn't that sturdy and also needs to have some care taken when handling it.  There are a lot of parts that can be broken and it will affect the way the track and the cars work. Assembly was pretty easy a little time consuming and is much bigger than I thought it would be. Comes with 3 cars that seem to stick on the track pretty well compared to the ones I had as a kid. The controllers are kinda cheap and wonder how long they will last. There is also a jump ramp that can be added or removed the kids really seemed to like this and would get very excited when the cars were getting close to the jump. Overall this is a really fun set that the kids and some adults will love. We were able to follow the directions and assemble the track with no problems.  The instructions are clear and even have pictures.  The assembly was not hard even for a first time racer like me.  You will need some AA batteries and it also plugs in.  We were careful to make sure all the connections are good as any break or misalignment will cause the track to malfunction.  It comes with 2 cars.  The kids had a great afternoon of racing.  I really like that it is small and easy enough to set up and use in just a short amount of time.  I gave this 5 Stars.  It was a fun afternoon of racing and assembly and cleanup were a breeze. The cars are really neat and the track was a breeze to set up. The hand controls make it fun to race the cars around the track. What I didn't expect was to see the adults waiting to take a turn racing these cars as well. This was seriously the best gift I have ever gotten for the boys. Much better than I had expected, and it keeps them busy for hours on end. They love racing with the hand controls. Only after I discovered that many of the tracks were missing the some of the metal rails. See photo. The left track is missing a rail and cannot deliver power to the cars. Again, this is not just one piece, it is many pieces. The track is unusable as intended.
