Putting together the gun was fairly easy and the directions saw us through this with very little problems.  Now, trying to get it loaded and operating was another story.  Got it loaded, but kept jamming up after we shot it. The shell was not ejecting.  What we found was we weren't loading the bullet flush with the shell.  After realizing that  everything worked well.  The younger kids couldn't utilize the pump action which is pretty stiff.  That upset them a bit but we'd get them set and they fired at the targets.  Older kids had a little bit of problems but got the hang of it.  The bullets fly out with a great deal of velocity and are fairly accurate.  This actually should be listed for a little older kids in my opinion just from the difficulty of the pump lever.
